Association for Research in CTEPH

The Association for Research in CTEPH was founded in November 2006. Its mission is to conduct epidemiological research on Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension (CTEPH), an uncommon and poorly explored complication of venous thromboembolism.

The main goal of this research is to improve the diagnosis and prognosis of CTEPH, and thus the clinical outcome and long-term care for affected patients. In order to reach this goal, the Association has established a CTEPH Registry. The Registry is driven by the Executive Board of the Association, constituted of physicians specialized in the treatment of CTEPH. This Board decides on all scientific and medical aspects of the Registry.
