The International CTEPH Association is running the CTEPH Image Consultation Community. This is a physician-driven, online platform launched in July 2015 that enables PH specialists and centres to collaborate, share their knowledge, and learn from each other’s experience, with the ultimate goal of improving the diagnosis and management of patients with CTEPH.

The CTEPH Image Consultation Community is a secure, accessible environment within which physicians and centres can share experiences and resources. The site can be used to obtain advice from an expert panel of CTEPH specialists, discuss difficult-to-diagnose cases, share interesting cases as a teaching tool, and support and train physicians in centres that wish to gain more experience in CTEPH.

Registered users of the CTEPH Image Consultation Community will be able to upload images and documents relating to, for example, CT scans, V/Q scintigrams, pulmonary angiograms, and MRI scans, among others.

Sharing of cases and questions can be done in one of two ways:

  • As a private discussion with an one or more selected users
  • As an open-access case/question for all other users to access

Health care professionals can submit an application by filling in the form on this page to apply for ICA membership and participation in the imaging platform. Applications require the approval of the ICA Executive Board. Both registration to the platform and ICA membership are free.

Registered users can access the platform following this link.

This is a joint initiative between the ICA and Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals, which has provided financial support as part of its ongoing commitment to the field of pulmonary hypertension.
